Simulation
Simulation is the use of a digital model to predict how a physical system will behave under different conditions. Digital twins enable simulation against real-world sensor data rather than theoretical assumptions.
Why it matters
Simulation allows you to test changes without building prototypes or running expensive field trials. A simulation anchored to a digital twin is more accurate than a simulation anchored to a CAD model.
