Data Cutover
The planned transition point at which users stop using the legacy system and begin using the new PLM system as the authoritative source for product data.
Why it matters
Cutover is the moment that determines whether the migration succeeds — parallel operation without a hard cutover date almost always results in data divergence and adoption failure.
