Manufacturing Process Management
The discipline of planning and documenting how products will be manufactured, including process sequences, tooling, and production workflows. In Windchill, enabled via Windchill MPMLink.
Why it matters
Bridging product design (MCAD) and manufacturing (CAM/MES) eliminates rework. Without integrated process management, manufacturing often re-engineers designs without engineering's visibility.
