DfM Screening
Automated Design-for-Manufacturing screening: AI-assisted analysis of a 3D design to identify features that are difficult, expensive, or impossible to manufacture with specified processes — before the design is released to production.
Why it matters
Late-stage DfM issues discovered in manufacturing are 10-100x more expensive to fix than issues caught at the design stage. Automated AI screening shifts DfM from a manufacturing bottleneck to a continuous design-phase check.
