Agentic PLM
An approach to product lifecycle management where AI agents autonomously execute PLM tasks, act as a single source of change across engineering tools, and manage product data and workflows without requiring continuous human intervention.
Why it matters
Classical PLM automates data storage; agentic PLM automates workflow orchestration. The difference is whether PLM acts on the product record or waits to be acted upon.
