On-Premise PLM
On-premise PLM is installed and run on the customer's own servers, managed by the customer's IT team. The customer owns the instance, has full access to the code, and controls all customization and integration. Vendors: Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, Aras.
Why it matters
On-premise PLM offers maximum control and integration flexibility. It is the standard for large enterprises, regulated industries, and organizations with complex, non-standard processes.
